Comfort 80+% Mid-Efficiency Gas Fired Furnace
Thermo Pride's newest high efficiency gas furnace represents the ultimate in comfort, reliability, quiet operation and cost savings. The fuel saving two-stage furnace operates at two firing rates. The first, or lower, rate is designed to provide heat on the mild days when a single stage furnace may be too large. This results in lower gas consumption 70-80% of the time. The second stage only operates on the coldest days when the weather reaches design temperature. The CDX (downflow) and CHX (upflow) models are equipped with a variable speed blower motor to provide just the right airflow for the most comfortable, economical and quietest HVAC system available
